SALVATION COMES FROM GOD: A Reading of the Book of Prophet Jonah

This book proposes a sychronic reading for the book of Jonah. In spite of apparent divergencies in style, the narrative part of the book of Jonah and the Psalm of Jonah in the second chapter of the book share in common the theme of salvation from God. This same theme facilitates a better understanding of the sign of Jonah as used by Jesus in the Gospels in reference to his death and resurrection.
